The Gutis (or Quti, Kuti, Gurti, Qurti, Kurti) trained people originating in the mounts Zagros having lived in Mésopotamie in IIIe and IIe millenia before the Christian era. They are probably the ancestors of the Kurdish S.
History of the conquests
The kings gutis seize the power in Mésopotamie around the XXII E by causing the fall of the Empire of Akkad, into -2193 by taking the town of Agade whose localization remains unknown, at the end of the Shar-kali-sharri reign. The last king of the people gutis was Tirigan, which was preceded by 21 kings, for a total reign of approximately a century (the estimates vary between 80 and 120 years, with 91 years often quoted like the most probable duration). The third dynasty of Ur succeeded to them.
