- Ingrid (1910 - 2000), queen of Denmark, mother of the queen Marguerite II of Denmark
- Bertil (1912 - 1997), duke of Halland
- Carl Johan, born in 1916, duke of Dalarna
The November 3rd 1923, it remarie with Louise Mountbatten (July 13rd 1889 - March 7th 1965), sister of Louis Mountbatten (1900-1979). They do not have children.
His death, its grandson succeeds to him, under the name Charles XVI Gustave.
