Gustave Cohen was a historian French, medievist, born with Saint-Jose-ten-Noode the December 24th 1879 and deceased with Paris the June 11th 1958. It created the theatrical group of Théophiliens. Of Jewish origin, it converts with Catholicism at 64 years. It founded the Maison Descartes with Amsterdam, Netherlands, where he was also professor. At the French Institute a bust is to honor its founder.
