Gustave Borgnis-Desbordes is a general French, born with Provins the October 22nd 1839 and deceased with Hanoï the July 18th 1900.

Polytechnician, it took part in the French colonial conquest, in particular in Cochinchine and with the French Sudan (it enters to Bamako in 1883). He is major general.
