Gustav Humbert
Gustav Humbert was born in 1950 with That, in the north of Germany. Doctor in engineering formed at the university of Hanover, Mr. Humbert entered in 1980 at Hamburger Flugzeugbau, a subsidiary company of MBB, repurchased then by Daimler. He became, in the years 1990, member of the directory of Daimler-Chrysler Aerospace (Dasa), which was melted in EADS.
From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Humbert was the owner of the branch commercial aviation of Dasa after having directed, of 1990 to 1997, the factory of Hamburg of the Deutsche Aerospace Airbus, become then Airbus Germany.
While succeeding Noel Forgeard in June 2005, Gustav Humbert was appointed President and CEO of Airbus and is member of the Executive committee of EADS. Gustav Humbert is the first " non-français" to direct Airbus, subsidiary company with 80% of EADS. Its direction achvée in July 2006.
