Gush daN

The Gush daN (, literally: the block of daN ) is the name of the agglomeration formed around Tel Aviv. The name comes from the Tribu of daN, one of the twelve wire of Jacob-Israel.

Gush daN is composed of Tel Aviv - Jaffa, Bat Yam, Holon, Ramat Gan, Givatayim, Bnei Brak, Or Yehuda, Kiriat Ono, Petah Tikva, Yehud, Ramla, Lod, Rishon LeZion, Nes Tsiona and Rehovot.

Several cities of the Plaine of Sharon are also regarded as belonging to Gush daN: Herzliya, Hod HaSharon, Kfar Sheba, Raanana, Ramat HaSharon.

It is the area most developed and densest in population.
