Guri

Guri is a city of the South Korea, in the province of the Gyeonggi. Its name, which it owes with old mines, means Korean copper.

The royal tombs of Donggureung, of the dysnastie Joseon are located in the city, as well as the Achasan hill, site of a fortress during the Baekje time.

Guri is a city with whole share since 1986. It belonged to Yangju until 1980 then of Namyangju until 1986. The suburban line Jungang Line connects Guri to Seoul.

The singer BoA was born in Guri.
