Gunthamund
Gunthamund is a King of the Vandals and Alains of Africa (“ Rex Wandalorum And Alanorum ”) of December 484 (or January 485) with 496. Wire of the prince Gento and grandson of the king Genséric, he, in died of the king Hunéric the December 23rd 484, the male member oldest of the royal family hasding although he is old only of one about thirty years at the time of his rise on the throne.
He must deal with the incursions of the bands of Berber plunderers which threaten always a little more the Royaume vandal of Carthage, being done increasingly pressing.
He dies precociously into 496 at the time of a shooting party to the stag, drowned accidentally (?).
