Gun-Kata

The Gun-kata is a fictional alternative of art-martial introduced into the films Equilibrium (Kurt Wimmer, 2003) and Ultraviolet (Kurt Wimmer, 2006).

Technique

Gun-kata was conceived by the scenario writer and realizer of Equilibrium Kurt Wimmer and was developed by the choreographer of combat Jim Vickers. It is about a technique of combat using the firearms. It makes it possible to inflict a maximum of damage to the adversary, while allowing that which practices it to remain in a position of quasi-invulnerability.
