Gull mélanocéphale

The Mouette mélanocéphale ( Larus melanocephalus ), like the very common Black-headed gull, with which it can be confused, to the black head in bridal period, and does not keep that a small spot of this cap on the cheek in winter. It differs from the black-headed gull by wings uniformly gray without black point, a " capuchon" darker and a nozzle slightly more extremely.

Species in strong expansion in Western Europe for a few years, the gull mélanocéphale has currently been the subject of very important programs of bush setting.
