Gulf of Oman
The gulf of Oman (Arab: خليجعمان/Khalyj “Oman) is a Détroit which connects the Mer of Oman to the Persian Gulf. He is generally regarded as a branch of the Persian Gulf rather than of the sea of Oman. On northern coast the Iran is and on the southern part the Sultanate of Oman in the east and the United Arab Emirates in the west.
