Gulf of Hammamet

The gulf of Hammamet (rear RTL خليجحمامت) is broad a Golfe located at the North-East of the Tunisia and more precisely at the south of the peninsula of the Cape Bon. It belongs to the Mediterranean. It is delimited in north by the Cape Ras Maamoura, close to the town of Béni Khiar, and in the south by the town of Monastir. The town of Hammamet, in north, gives him its name.

The main cities bordering the gulf of Hammamet are Nabeul, Hammamet, Hergla, Chott Meriem, Sousse and Monastir which all are of the cities with strong tourist activity.
