The Golfe of Genoa ( Golfo di Genova ) is the part Septentrional E of the Ligure Mer. The width of the gulf is approximately 125 km; it extends from the town of Imperia in the west with Spezia in the east. More the big city on the coast gave its name to the Golfe and is an important port: Genoa.
