Gulf of Boothia

The gulf of Boothia is a Golfe located at the Nunavut, Canada. It is between the island of Baffin and the Péninsule of Boothia. The gulf is surrounded by the Péninsule of Melville and the Canada in the south, while to north, it leads to the Prince regent Inlet and Lancaster Sound.

The gulf of Boothia was named by John Ross, Scottish Explorateur in the honor of Felix Booth, owner of the second forwarding in the search of a passage to the North-western.
