Guitteye tinder

Tinder Guitteye , known as “you”, is a musician guitarist Malian born in 1958 with Tikabango in the area of Mopti (Mali).

Amadou Guitteye passes its childhood to Mopti where he learns how to play of the Guitare at the 14 years age. It joined then Bamako to continue its studies and integrates the group Bama Sheba as guitarist.

In 1979, it settles in France then in 1985 in Germany, with Cologne.

In 2001, it leaves a first album, “Mopti” followed by a second in 2005, entitled Taama (In Bambara, it wants to say voyage, experiment, ventures).

Inventor of a particular style that it calls Manding Groove, combining of the traditional rates/rhythms and various musical styles, Amadou Guitteye sings in Bambara, Sonrhaï and Peul. Its songs evoke peace, the hope, the life, the love, the tradition.
