Guitar Connection

Guitar Connection is an album and a dvd of the guitarist Jean-Pierre Danel. Volume 1 is the album of instrumental guitar more sold history of the disc in France.

Left in July 2006 at Sony/BMG, the album is accompanied by an important advertizing campaign on television, and Jean-Pierre Danel is the interpreter and the producer. The album includes/understands 18 titles (largest standards of the kind and five news), and the dvd a method of guitar and a making off in particular. Guitar Connection is N°1 of the record sales in France in July and August 2006 (+ of 160.000 sold specimens), from ever seen for an album of instrumental guitar, and obtains a gold disc. The album is also classified N°3 of the sales in Belgium and enters to the Signal to Switzerland. The dvd receives a diamond disc.

" Guitar Connection 2" in March 2007 leaves and is classified N°8 of the Signal of the sales in France. It contains various pop standards/rock'n'roll, and also the tube jazzy " Nivram ", recorded in duet with Hank Marvin, the mythical guitarist of the Shadows, and principal influence of Jean-Pierre.

Two other duets are reproduced on the album: " My Song off You" , recorded with Laurent Voulzy, and " While My Guitar Gently Weeps", with Pascal Danel. A dvd of 2:30 includes/understands, as in the first volume, a method to learn the titles from the album, interviews, making off, etc

The dvd receives a double platinum disc.
