Guipavas ( Breton Gwipavaz in ) is a common department of the Finistere, in the area Brittany, in France.

History
- At the 16th century, Guipavas belonged to the seneschalsy of Brest and Saint-Renan.

Places and monuments
On the territory of Guipavas, one finds many monuments religious, the church Saint-Pierre-and-Saint-Paul, the church of Our-Lady-of-Reun, the vault Saint-Yves, the church Our-Lady-of-Tourbian.
Many crosses rise in the campaigns around, the cross Saint-Thudon (7th century century), Croas-Cuzet, the Vault-Cross (16th century), etc
One finds also historic buildings nonreligious. Many sites shelter vestiges of an often moved back past and recall that the grounds of Guipavas belonged formerly to noble families. Today, there remain only some traces of this architecture seigneuriale, the manors of Vizac, of Kéraudry, or by Froutven increase, them also, the architectural prestige of the commune.

- the Guy of Reun organize each year an international tournament of football: the Challenge of Spring
- About on June 20th a festival of the summer is organized in collaboration with associations of the city
- last Sunday of October, association " Help of Hommes" organize a large fair with the chips with humane vocation, Halle of New Mill.
