Guin Saga
It is about the generic title of a series of new Japanese woman of Heroic fantasy of the Japanese writer Kaoru Kurimoto. Started in 1979, it is always in the course of publication. Initially planned for 100 volumes it reached, beginning 2007, the number of 111 works.
Guin Saga tells the history of a mysterious warrior with head of leopard named Guin. Amnesic, the quète of his memory and its past carry out it on multiple continents.
The Japanese draftsman Yoshitaka Amano drew many covers of them, as well as illustrations.
Kentaro Miura, the author of Berserk considers that Guin Saga constitutes a source of important inspiration for its Manga.
