- L. Sicinus, powerful orator of the Plebs.
- democratic Agitation in Rome maintained by the powerful orators the plebs (end in -72). Senatorial oligarchy opposes to their claims a desperate resistance.
- Beginning of the reign of Sanatrocès (Sinatruc), king of the Parthes (fine in -70).
- With died of Artaban II, Sinatruc, 80 years old, is proclaimed king of Parthes. He manages to restore the order in the empire. The year six of his reign, the king of the Pont proposes an alliance against Rome to him. Sinatruc declines the offer and remains in peace. He dies one year after and his/her son Phraatès III succeeds to him.
- Beginning of the reign of Hyrcan II, king of Judaea under the regency of his/her mother Salome Alexandra (fine in -67).
- Alexandre Jannée dies of disease at the time of the head office of Ragaba, in the territory of Géras. His/her son Hyrcan II, large priest and Jewish prince hasmonéen, reign under the supervision of his/her mother Salome Alexandra.
