Guillaume of Squirrel fur

Guillaume of the Squirrel fur , born with Paris the March 7th 1556 and died in Tonneins the August 3rd 1621, is a prelate, politician and writer French moralist, Minister of Justice under Louis XIII

He occupied several high employment in the magistrature, embraced the party of the Policies in the French civil discords, and accepted the seals in 1616 without to have requested them. He had to fight against the intrigues of the courtiers. He was made count and bishop of Lisieux in 1620.
