Guillaume of Roussillon
Guillaume of Roussillon , lord of Annonay of 1271 with 1277 and of Roussillon, he was the husband of Béatrix of the Tower of the Pine.
It is sent in 1275, with Midsummer's Day d' Acre capital of the Royaume of Jerusalem, like envoy of the king de France Philippe Bold the and as representing French forces charged to maintain the order between the Christian factions which between-tear. The second crusade of Louis {{IX}} has been finished on its arrival for five years already and it will know a coup d'etat in May 1277 on behalf of Charles of Anjou (1227-1285), brother of the king Louis {{IX}} (1226-1270).
Victim of the plot fomented by Charles of Anjou and Guillaume de Beaujeu, the Master of the Order of the Temple, it did not return from there. The mission of Guillaume of Roussillon will become a business of state starting from December 1277.
It left a son Artaud of Roussillon.
