Guillaume Voiriot
Guillaume Voiriot , born with Paris in 1713 and died in Paris the November 30th 1799, is a French painter.
Portraitist, of old Lorraine origin (Wœiriot), Guillaume Voiriot goes on his own sums of money in Italy of 1746 to 1749. Of return in France, it forms initially part of the Académie of Saint-Luc, then in 1759 is received with the royal Académie of painting and sculpture with two portraits of the painters Jean-Baptiste Marie Pierre and Jean-Marc Nattier. From 1759 to 1771, it exposes with regularity to the Salons effigies of its contemporaries. After 1771, its participation is less frequent. It is devoted then to administrative tasks while continuing to paint parents, scientists, men of letters, actors and musicians.
