Guillaume Vigneault

Guillaume Vigneault , born the August 5th 1970 with Montreal, is a writer Québécois.

He is the son of the singer Gilles Vigneault.

After having obtained a baccalaureat in literary studies with the University from Quebec in Montreal and to have begun studies of control in the same field, it decided to be devoted to its passion, the writing. Marked, young person, by the reading of Albert Camus, Ernest Hemingway and Fedor Dostoïevski, it feels today certain affinities with Jean-Paul Dubois and Philippe Djian.

Chercher the wind is a Livre with success in Quebec since its publication in October 2001 and it is published in English at Douglas and McIntyre . Chercher the wind moreover was the subject of translations in Russian and Norwegian.

He was the spokesperson of the World Day of the book and the royalty. In 2005, it wrote the full text of the Dictée of Americas.
