Guillaume Morel
Guillaume Morel (1505 - February 19th 1564) is a scholar French born with the Teilleul in Basse-Normandie.
Professor of Greek at the Collège de France.
After having worked like Correct of tests in a Parisian company of Jean Loys, it was established on its account and thereafter succeeded Adrien Turnèbe like Imprimeur of the king in 1555. Its most important realization is Thesaurus vocum omnium latinarum which includes/understands many quotations of Greek authors, coming from manuscripts of the library of Paris not published up to now.
It is also a large scientist of its time.
