Guillaume Marie of the CAP of Bellegarde , French admiral, born the July 26th 1757 with the castle of Bellegarde, Bellegarde, deceased the October 7th 1830 with Paris.

It is received with the college of the Arrow the November 7th 1765 then with the Military Royal École of Paris on October 1st 1771, entered at the day of its sixteen years the July 26th 1773 until the May 11th 1775, admitted candidate-guard of the marine with Toulon the May 24th 1775 then guard of the navy on July 1st 1776, it embarks the October 29th on board the vessel the Dream where it makes its first countryside and is named guard of the house on July 1st 1777, it unloads the July 13rd.

It sets out again on board Hector the August 14th, until February 1st, then on board the Vaillant the March 31st 1778 where, as of the following day, it passes sign of vessel. It is with the Prise Grenade the July 4th 1779, with the combat off the island the 6, with the Siège of Savannah the October 9th 1779, return in France in December.

In February 1780, it embarks on board the Conquérant which takes part in the Bataille of bay of Chesapeake, and the squadrons Ternay, Of the Keys, Of Fatty. He enters then to the State Major of the Military academy of PEN founded for the education of the young emigrated nobility, where he teaches since the May 9th 1796 until the March 25th 1800. Married a little later it is amnestied the 24 ventôse year XI (March 15th 1803), and takes again activity as headmaster of the college of Rodez of 1810 with 1813.

Promoted captain the December 31st 1814, it is put at the retirement on September 1st 1817 with a pension of 1.952 francs, it is then sixty years old. Named Rear-admiral of the naval armies of the king in November 1821, commander of the Order of Saint-Louis the September 4th 1828, it remarie in its old days and dies in its apartment Parisian, the October 7th 1830, 73 years old, without posterity.

Its funerals are celebrated the following day in the church of the Madeleine, it is buried with the Cimetière of the Mount-Valérien.
