Guillaume Lecointre is a Zoologiste and systematician French, born the February 28th 1964.

Spheres of activity

Professor with the national Natural history museum of natural history, it works in particular, in Systématique (Science of classifications), with the improvement and the exploration of the properties of the methods of construction of phylogenies, and with their application to the Téléostéen S, starting from anatomical data like molecular data. He takes part since about fifteen years in the improvement of teaching in sciences of classifications, on all the school levels. Its work the phylogenetic Classification of alive the seeks to make evolve/move the teaching of classification while returning this one Phylogénétique.

It was also to 2004 chronicler for the newspaper Charlie-Hebdo in which it wrote articles of scientific Popularization and denounced the Pseudo-science S and the return of spiritualism in sciences.
