Guillaume II of Namur
Guillaume II of Namur , born the January 22nd 1355, dead the January 10th 1418, was marquis de Namur of 1391 with 1418. It was wire of Guillaume Ier, marquis de Namur, and of Catherine of Savoy.
Its reign proceeded peacefully and was devoted to encourage the trade and industry, like with the construction of fortifications.

He had married in first weddings Jeanne de Hainaut (1323 † 1350), countess of Soissons, girl of Jean de Hainaut, lord of Beaumont, and Marguerite, countess of Soissons.Widower, it remaria in second weddings in 1352 in Catherine of Savoy († 1388), girl of Louis II of Savoy, baron de Vaud, and of Isabelle de Châlon.
It had had only one girl of its second marriage, which died in low age.
