Biography
Guillaume III, wire of Hugue II of Sillé, witness of the made gift with Savigny by his/her father of a middle-class man of Sillé named Jean Lecordonnier. Henri II invited it to make restore in the Chapter of Saint-Pierre-of-the-Court the church of Roézé. He divided with the monks of the Seam and Geoffroy de Courtarvel the income of the Saint-Remy cheese mill (1164). Suzerain de Foulque Riboul, it judged in his favor about the pleasure of a size on the inhabitants of the cemetery (1189). A bubble of the pope Célestin III, of 1197, attests the gift of a taxable quota of 20 grounds agreed by Guillaume III to the Abbaye of Étival-in-Charnie, and another of 10 sums of money by a predecessor of the same name, Guillaume II undoubtedly. The birthday of Guillaume III was founded with the Abbaye of Bellebranche by Bernard of Ferté, after 1200, and fixed at the third day before the Saint-Pierre. The Abbé Angot supposes that it is him still which had given to the same Cistercian abbey a middle-class man of Sillé, AD vestitum monachorum .Mr. de Lestang assigns for woman with Guillaume III, or rather with Guillaume IV which it confuses with him, Ermengarde, which the Angot abbot does not meet elsewhere, but that it does not have reason to draw aside, because it in connaiy not of other.
It had as wire:
- Guillaume which follows;
- Hersende, woman of Geoffroy de Pouancé and Guerche, mother of Guillaume and Elisabeth of Guerche; one sees it attending the foundation of collegial of Guerche in 1206;
- One second girl, of unknown name, but which seems indicated by this fact that Bernard of Ferté, undoubtedly her husband, would have founded the birthday of Guillaume, his father.
