Guillaume François Charles Goupil de Préfelne
Guillaume François Charles Goupil de Préfelne, born with Alençon the July 29th 1727, died in Paris the February 18th 1801.
Under the Revolution
General lieutenant of police force in Alençon, Guillaume François Charles Goupil de Préfelne is elected with the bailliage of Alençon to the general states. He takes there contradictory positions, voter in favor of the absolute veto of the king, the Catholic religion like national religion, the civil Constitution of the clergy, the suppression of the honorary titles, the dismissal of the bodyguards, the institution of the jury, etc President of the court of the district of Alençon to the separation of the Constituent Assembly (1791), he is stopped like suspect, in May 1794, and is released after Thermidor 9 year III (July 27th 1794).
Under the Directory
Elected with the the Council of the Five hundred by the Flowering ash, it is stopped like royalist after the Coup d'etat of the 18 fructidor year V (September 4th, 1797) but is slackened very quickly.
Under the Consulate and the First Empire
It enters on April 9th 1800, with the Court of cassation.
