Guillaume Adam

Guillaume Adam (Guillelmus Adae in Latin), pontifical missionary in Persia (1314-17), bishop of Smyrna (1318) and archbishop of Sultanieh (Iran, 1322) and Antivari (Montenegro, since 1324).

One of the six Dominican sent by the pope Jean XXII in Persia. He had probably already gone there front, during the pontificate of Clément V, therefore before 1314. Died in 1329.
