Guild Wars 2
Guild Wars 2 is a play of ArenaNet, distributed by NCsoft, whose development was revealed in March 2007 for an exit envisaged in the current of the year 2009. Beta-tests are envisaged in the current of the year 2008.
Few things are currently known on this play, except which it should be held several hundred years after the events of Guild Wars 1 and which it will not be possible to transfer the characters to it from the first shutter. It should be on the other hand possible to free certain objects, competences or rewards via the the Pantheon of the important facts , available in Guild Wars Eye off the North, the final chapter of the original play.
Characteristics
Guild Wars 2 should also have mechanisms similar to those of Guild Wars 1 but seems more directed MMORPG than its predecessor (who was described as CORPG by ArenaNet) even if it should remain without subscription.There will be also the possibility of swimming, of jumping, to slip, etc Of the raids will be also proposed to the players, and the PvP will be always also present in the play. The limit of level 20 will be withdrawn, which will make it possible to the players to reach elevated levels (100 to 150, to even see not limits of levels).

Races

Synopsis
More than 250 years after the victory of the players over the Destroying in Eye off the North, the world changed well and, in Tyrie, the mankind is not any more the prevalent race. In addition to the emergence of the new races, several great cataclysms fell down on the continent. These catastrophes, for the majority of them were caused by the alarm clock of the old dragons, of the creatures which can even compete with the Gods, of which first was Primordus which was behind the appearance of the Destructors.The human ones of the whole world took refuge with the kingdom of Kryte in spite of a tsunami, caused by the emergence of the absorbed continent of Orr, which destroyed the capital of the Arch of the Lion and submerged the majority of the coastal villages. Norns were driven out towards the south, towards the grounds given up since the transformation of the Dwarves, by the alarm clock of the dragon of the ices. Charrs took again possession of their ancestral grounds formerly occupied by the kingdom of Ascalon and must face another gigantic dragon. Sylvari which has just been born from the tree planted by Ronan and kept by Ventari start to explore the world. On their side, them Asura try to be made a place on the surface by offering their services to the other races to connect the cities in them by their network of gates.
Tyrie lost any contact with Cantha little time after this continent sank in the Isolationnisme. The contacts with Elona are also broken since the Death-alive king of the S Palawa Joko established his base in the Crystal Desert and conquered the Country of the gilded sun.
