Geography
History
Gueux, near Rheims was the seat of important and famous seigniory: the large one and noble family of Cauchon was already lord of Gueux with. Feret, which was also lords of Mount-Laurent were lords of Gueux, and for this reason, Hubert de Feret (baron of holy Ampoule), ordering captain of the town of Rheims, carried the platform to the sacring of the king Henri III, the February 13rd 1575.
