Guesch Patti
Guesch Patti , of its true name Patricia Porasse , is a Danseuse and a French Chanteuse born the March 16th 1946 with Paris. She is primarily known for her title with success in 1987, Etienne .
Biography
It initially directed towards the Ballet dancing as of the 9 years age - it worked with Roland Petit - then towards the Contemporary dance with Carolyn Carlson and Pina Bausch, and finally towards the dance of variety on the plates of television.After having accompanied the pianist Yves Gilbert, it chooses the song and records, in 1965, two discs which pass unperceived. Guesch Patti takes part in the formation of the trio Dacapo in 1984, and is finally success into 1987/1988 with the song Etienne , which will be Disque of gold in France. Guesch Patti sells a million and half of specimens of this disc which will be classified number one in nine countries . The album which follows is same success. Three other individual will be extracted from it: Let Be Must the Queen , Good birthday and Bottom Bottom Clan . It obtains also a Victoire of the music in 1988 in the category “revelation female of the year”.
The second album of Guesch Patti entitled Nomades leaves in January 1990. In spite of a European round and concerts given to the the United States, like with the Canada, the album will not be same success. the Man with the green apron , How to say and Nomades will be the three titles extracted the album.
In 1992 the album Gobe leaves. The album will be a commercial failure.
In 1995 appears the album Blonde strongly marked by an evolution towards less commercial sonorities and new collaborations with inter alia Matthieu Chédid, Etienne Daho (on the title Blonde ) and Francoise Hardy (on the title A little… much ). Three extracts will be retained: the Fair Marchioness , and Amnesia . In addition, the British scenario writer Peter Greenaway will choose for the original soundtrack of his film The Pillow Book (1996) three songs of the album: the Fair Marchioness , and Chinese the .
Breaking news appeared in 2000 is the title of the fifth album of Guesch Patti. The album highlights an environment painful and mélo-dramatic, strongly loneliness borrows. A DVD left in March 2002 supplements the album. Innovation in the field of the music, this DVD presents most of the album by mixing choreographic performances, as well as a false treating interview of existential problems, but also of the condition of the artist. The same year, Guesch Patti offers a duet with Gonzales for the individual heading In your eyes .
Following the various commercial failures of these discs in the Years 1990, Guesch Patti somewhat took its distances with the world of the music, also seeking to diversify its artistic experiments. It takes again its career of dancer then, in particular with the spectacle It smiles to the tears , presented to the Théâtre of the Abbesses in 2001 when it dances of the parts of various contemporary choreographers, of which Odile Duboc, Daniel Larrieu and a part written especially for it by Dominique Mercy.
She also played in films. She makes a short appearance in for all of Claude Lelouch and she plays in They , of Luis Galvao Teles, at the sides of Miou-Miou, Marthe Keller, Marisa Berenson and Carmen Maura). One still sees it on the boards, with parts like the Opera of quat' under , the Monologs of the vagina and Jesus Camacho 404.284 ). During the summer 2006, it is one of the members of the jury of the Dancing Show diffused on France 2.
In addition, Guesch Patti joined again with the music and prepares a new album.
