Guerilla Dustbin

Guerilla Dustbin (GxP) is a group of Parisian Punk created in 2003.

The group with more than 300 concerts to its credit, in particular in France, in Quebec and Japan.

Formation

Their musical configuration is that of the power Trio, i.e.: low, guitar, battery. The scenic services include/understand the performance of Jokoko which while ensuring the choruses, painted into live .

History

Guerilla Poubelle east creates in 2003 following the separation of the group the Beets and leaves at the end of this same year a demonstration four titles, Dégoût and colors . less than two years later, the group produces Split with Breton the Butter Beans and the album It is necessary to repaint the world… in black . Their individual Demain it rains , diffused out of radio, is classified first the week of in February 2006 in India 30, the classification of the independent artists on the French public radio Mouv', and maintains itself there for many weeks, at the point to obtain the first place of annual classification and to be included in the compil of India 30 2006 . Guerilla dustbin also leaves new Split ( Ninjas & guerillas ), with this time the Japanese group Coquettish. The second album Punk = Existentialisme left the 29 October 2007.

Implications and controversies

The group is known for its singular positions and without concession. One will quote in particular the refusal to be registered with SACEM, the will to limit the price of their places in concert (by asking a weak seal) and their albums (10 euros), the fight against the useless starification people like everyone (by refusing the autographs,…), engagement in the life underground, the creation of the distrib Guerilla ESA, or commitment to make replant the trees having been used to print the CD booklets.

However, the group is rejected by part of the punk medium " dur" , in particular to want to make available to the general public this music.
