Gueorgui Parvanov
Georgui Sedeftchov Părvanov (in Bulgarian ГеоргиСедефчовПърванов ) is a Bulgarian Politician born the June 28th 1957 with Sirichnik (in the district of Pernik). It is President of the republic of Bulgaria since the January 22nd 2002, re-elected in October 2006.
Parvanov integrates the Bulgarian Socialist party (PSB) in 1981. It leaves doctor the faculty of history of the university Saint-Clement of Ohrid of Sofia in 1988.
In 1994 it is elected at the Bulgarian Parliament and in 1996, he becomes president of the PSB. In 2001, it gives up its position of president of the PSB to the young person Serguei Stanichev.
Parvanov is elected president the November 18th 2001 and reaches the functions of Head of the State, to replace Petar Stoyanov on January 22nd, 2002.
