Guelta
The gueltas are water Résurgence S, natural. This term indicates temporary water levels or not without visible flow. It can be Mare S in the beds of the Oued S, or the natural cisterns in the rocks. One meets them in the situations protected from a too great exposure to the sun in the mountainous solid masses, in that of the Ennedi, in the Adrar of Ifoghas to the Mali or in Mauritania (Tagant).
