Gucci , or House Gucci , founded in 1921, is a company Italy nne specialized in the Haute couture member of the index Euronext 100. Belongs to the Gucci Group, company of the French group Pinault-Spring-Redoute.

History

Guccio Gucci (1881-1953) founded it with Florence in 1921.

The production is primarily sub-contracted to several hundreds of Italian craftsmen.

Shareholder since 1999, PR launched a tender offer on Gucci in March 2004.
