Guallino
The Guallino - Patrick Guallino (May 10th, 1943) and Anne Poiré (September 10th, 1965) - are French contemporary artists.
Presentation
At the beginning, Patrick Guallino is painter, sculptor, illustrator, Anne Poiré, writer. Their common life for more than twenty years has made that they work together, from now on. Their fabrics and sculptures have been generally cosignées for a few years. Exposures in the whole world make it possible to cross their work, ludic, unslung bestiary, invitation with imaginary, and this as well in the United States as in Vietnam, in China, or Europe.
Illustrators, Patrick Guallino and Anne Poiré have with their credit several hundreds of contributions. Side of the editions PLOWSHARE & JIB - in particular splendid the " The wolves give voix" G. Brulet and Jean-Claude Touzeil, like with the editions Rafael de Surtis, Clapas, Inks Sharp, Tournefeuille, Dyed with carmine, One @ Faim, Triages, Gros Texts, Like that and Differently, the workshop of the Cockchafer… Their fabrics are generally enriched with the acrylic resin, raised more and more joinings of fabric. Their sculptures are on wood, on bronze, with glass or aluminum. The unit is of a polychromy rather festive, merry, in the tenderness and a certain idea of peace. Texts are engraved on the fabrics, their books are illustrated whimsical graphics, with the velvety or semi-sparkling pallet. Side writing, they are collections of poems or news, books for the adults as for the children.
