Guérinière

Guérinière is a common French, located in the department of the the Vendée and the area Pays of the Loire.

Geography

The commune is located on the Île of Noirmoutier. The southern part makes up of a long sand beach while the northern part and the port of the Catch protected from the Mer by a Digue give on the Baie of Bourgneuf. The others limiting geographical are shared with the communes of Barbâtre in south-east, the Spine in the North-West and Noirmoutier-in-the Island in north.

The commune is separate in two parts by the Route coming from the continent, one made of Dune S and Lande S where the village and the dwellings are installed. The other most often located in lower part of the sea level accommodates fields of Potatoes and saline Marais.

Although turned towards the Tourism with its many and vacation villages Camp-site, the common one kept an activity of Agriculture, Mytiliculture and of important Ostréiculture.
