Groups of supporters of Olympic of Marseilles
The supporters of Olympic of Marseilles are dominating in the life of the club since nearly one century. It is them which thus finance the alteration work of the stage of Huveaune in the Années 1920. Put in sleep during the Years 1950 and 1960, the Marseilles supporters again find colors at the time of the Leclerc presidency. For the example, the Parisian section of the supporters of the OM counts then more than 2000 active members (1970).
Sounded by the jolts of the end of the Years 1970, the supporters of the OM carry out a return in strength with the Tapie presidency. The Ultra wave coming from Italy then gives rise to many groups: South Winners, CU84 or Yankee, in particular. Enthusiasm is not contradicted in spite of work of the Cycle-racing track before the World cup and new disappointments which mark the end of the Tapie presidency. A club of supporters of the OM is even listed with New York, it counts a hundred members, French like American .
With residence, they are located at the Stade Cycle-racing track. The independent groups of supporters are:

Patrice de Peretti , known as " Depé". It is the creator of the group of the MTP ( Powerful Marseilles Trop ). In 89, at the time of a match of the OM against the AEK Athens, taking as a starting point the attitude of a small core of supporters Greek, it decides to support from now on its club barechested whatever the outside temperature, an attitude which becomes its mark and makes it possible to identify it everywhere. The Northern turn of the Stade Cycle-racing track bears its name to pay homage to him. It is deceased on July 28th, 2000.
