Grouping for Research on the Heat exchangers
The Grouping for Research on the Heat exchangers or GRETh is a club of industrialists who finance of the research programs and into diffuse results near its members.
It was founded in 1983 and became a Association law of 1901 in 1994 by the will of its four founders ECA, ADEME, CETIM and CETIAT (these two organizations being industrial technical centres).
It in particular made it possible to solve the problems that SNECMA (member of Greth) knew with ARIANE 5 (technical failure of the Tuyère of the Moteur Vulcan) by adding an exchanger of heat what has made it possible to maintain the temperature of the engine of the second stage of the rocket.
