Groupe NR TRUSTED
The Groupe NR is the category relating to the cars of production, in the payment TRUSTED. This category was created in 1982 to replace the old category Groupe 1 .
Presentation
The Group NR are cars standards, produced in series with a minimum of 2 500 specimens, and limited per annum in their possible modifications for the competition, compared to their versions of series. The models Groups NR, like each one of their modifications, must be approved by the TRUSTED before being able to contribute.
The Group NR have the advantage, from their concept close to the mass-production car, to be relatively economic, in particular compared to the Groupe has. Let us note however that with the passing of years, the category moves away more and more from the mass-production cars, while in particular allowing to approve gear box, transmission and others planned only for the competition.
Classes
The Group NR are divided into 4 classes of cubic capacity, with an exception for S2000:

N1 : until 1 400 cm ³
- N2 : of 1 400 with 1 600 cm ³
- N3 : of 1 600 with 2 000 cm ³
- N4 : more 2 000 cm ³ as well as Super the 2000 (2 000 cm ³)
Note: the engines using a overfeeding (compressing or turbo) are seen applying a multiplying coefficient of 1,7 X their cubic capacity réelle.
Exemple: one 2 liters turbo becomes one 3,3 liters after calculation, therefore passes in N4 class.
Championships
The Group NR are present mainly in rally in the championship WRC. Besides they are the subject of a World cup of the cars of production. The Group NR has been also present in circuit, it was in particular the case of old the Spectacular, derived from the regulation Groupe NR. the Spectacular for summer replaced by Super the 2000, present in particular in the championship WTCC.
Super 2000
The Super regulation 2000 (modified cars of production 2 000 cm ³) are derived from the category Groupe NR. It acts of cars whose motorization is lower than 2 000 cm ³, and which are equipped with various kits, approved by the manufacturers, making it possible to modify the model of series. The category Super 2000 is present in WTCC and made its appearance in rally. The models Super 2000 rally are equipped with a integral Transmission, including if the model of series does not have any. This subcategory moves away thus from the original spirit of the Group NR.
The first appearance of Super 2000, known as S2000, in France was carried out during the rally of Antibes 2006 with the first official appearance of the Peugeot 207 S2000 in opening of the rally. One can also note the presence with the Rally of Condroz-Huy 2006 (Belgium) for the first time on the Européen territory in condition of race of Volkswagen Polo S2000 running usually for the African Southern championship. Lastly, the Large news FIAT Punto Abarth Super 2000 gained for its first year of competition the championship of Europe of the rallys TRUSTED.
In championship of France of the rallys, Super the 2000 enter class A7S, derived from a7 class.
