Mandate of UNO

GOMNUIP was created in 1948 to observe the line of cease fire and to detect the violations between the India and the Pakistan in the Cachemire.

The ribbon

The ribbon has a central band dark green (4 mm) converging towards outside while passing to colors pale green with the white and a sudden crack with blue of UNO (4 mm) in edge.

Attribution

This badge is decreed for the six months service carried out between on January 20th, 1948 and on January 20th, 1979.
