Group X-CRISE

The Groupe X-Crisis is a think tank and debates on the economy, gathering former students of the Polytechnic school.

Consequence of the Great depression which follows the Krach of 1929, this group was born with the autumn 1931 and is transformed into 1933 in Center polytechnician of economic studies.

Founded by Gerard Bardet, Andre Loizillon and John Nicolétis. One counts among the actors of this group Raymond Abellio, Alfred Sauvy, Louis Vallon, Jean Coutrot, Jules Moch.

It adopts rather an approach Planiste anti liberal E. One also regards it as a crucible of the Technocratie. The Second war will divide the group since some join the Résistance (Jules Moch, Louis Vallon), and others begin in the Collaboration (Raymond Abellio, Jean Coutrot).

It is thus not only one gathering of polytechnicians, bus X-Crisis also organizes public meetings by accommodating personalities not polytechnicians. The group also functions like a meeting place between committed technicians and personalities Politique S or Intellectuel them.
