Group ICN École of management

History of the ICN

Created in 1905 by the University of Nancy, like by the Chamber of commerce and of Industry of Meurthe-et-Moselle, the Commercial Institute of Nancy becomes in 2002 Groupe ICN École of management , establishment of private college education, recognized by the State, attached by decree to the University Nancy 2 .

The ICN today

Member of the Chapter of the Schools of Management within the Conference of the Universities and member of the Bank of common tests ECRICOME , ICN belongs to the very first French Universities of Management. The ICN received in September 2006 the Supplément label of the diplôme.ICN Business School received on February 27th, 2007 accreditation EQUIS.

The ICN and ARTEM

ARTEM indicates the partnership between 3 French Universities: ICN School of Management (ICN), the 3Ecole Nationale Sup3erieure of the Mines of Nancy (ENSMN) and the 3Ecole Nationale Sup3erieure of Art of Nancy (ENSA). These three Schools will be joined together soon on a common campus, the Molitor barracks, in the middle of the town of Nancy. ARTEM connects while distinguishing, the men (commercial artisites, engineers and), the disciplines (art, science and technology, management), know-how (to know to create, to know to produce, know to develop and negotiate) to form the new generation of decision makers and creators, to create new interdisciplinary knowledge.

Recruitment with the ICN

Students ICN are recruited:

- in first year, after 2 years of economic and commercial preparatory classes scientific, economic or technological option via the contest Ecricome or after a VAT + 2 via the contest Springboard 1

- in second year, after a VAT + 3/4 via the contest Springboard 2 or the contest Great Area and also after obtaining a foreign diploma of the license type or bachelor via the Universa contest

The passage by the Preparatory classes at Universities (CPGE) is the average privileged person to integrate the course University of Group ICN Ecole of Management.

The teaching course

In first year, students ICN acquire the fundamental management (marketing, accountancy, languages and culutures foreign, logistics, management…) that they implement in a project-school , true training of the entrepreunariat.

In second year, the students follow:

- a joint base : management, control and finance, analyze strategic, international environment…

- dominant of specialization (1 day and half per week): marketing and E-trade/finance and to that/management of the organizations/management of SME and entrepreunariat.

- a workshop ARTEM in one of the three Schools of alliance: financial Modeling with ICN or Design, Innovation and Production with the ENSMN or art and public space with ENSA etc…

In third year, the students follow a joint base of 4 modules , choose modules course and write a Mémoire of research .

Students ICN and the world of the company

Rich person of a track records from 9 to 20 months in training course and of a experiment to international the , either in University partner during 1 six-month period or in 6 months training course abroad, graduates ICN work as well in the fields of the audit/finance/banks as in that of marketing or human resources.

The teaching staff and administrative

ICN Business School account among its professors 60% Doctors including 21% of foreign nationality and 16% of expert professional speakers.

ICN also has a Comité of Strategic direction made up of 15 international leaders. It aims to direct the general strategy of the School and to ensure best coherences between waitings of the employers, competences and aucquelles attitudes ICN forms.

Diploma SUP' EAST

This diploma is a vat +3, which leads to a bachelor. It is accessible on contest, for the graduates. This formation, offers to these students a teaching support comparable with that of diploma ICN university.
