Ground Schoenbach
Sol Schoenbach (1915 - 1999) was large a Bassoniste and American pedagog .
After having studied with the University of New York and having obtained a doctorate with the Temple University and the Curtis Institute off Music, he is member of CBS Orchestra between 1932 and 1937. From 1937 with 1957, it is bassoon solo with the Orchestre of Philadelphia, period during which it also forms part of the Philadelphia Woodwind Quintet. From 1957 with 1981, Sol Schoenbach is executive director of the Settlement School off Music. He is also president of the International Double Reed Society (IDRS) of 1981 with 1984.
