Economy

The economy rests above all on the agricultural production even if there are also companies of mechanics or metallurgy. In the hamlet of Sariano are the shipyard Azimut, known for its yatch. Tourism represents a big part of the economy: Gropparello is a tourist resort re-elected during the summer

On the commune of Gropparello, for example in the hamlet of Montechino, one still finds some oil wells which are not any more in exploitation since the years 1950 because the oil of the province of Pleasure could not be compétif.
