Grigoriy NR. Neujmin
Grigoriy Nikolaevich Neujmin (January 3rd 1866 or December 22nd 1885 in the Calendar Julien - December 17th 1946) (In Russian: ГригорийНиколаевичНеуймин) was a Soviet Astronome /Russian.
It is credited with discovered with 74 Astéroïde S, of which in particular (951) Gaspra and (762) Pulcova. The Minor Planet Center recorded its discoveries under the name G. NR. Neujmin and its name appears in this way in the literature. However, the modern English transliteration of its name should be Neuymin.
He discovered or Co-discovered also several Comet S periodicals, of which 25D/Neujmin, 28P/Neujmin, 42P/Neujmin, 57P/du Roof-Neujmin-Delporte and 58P/Jackson-Neujmin. The asteroid (1129) Neujmina was named in its honor.
