Grey Angels

Grey Angels is a chapter Space Marines for Warhammer 40000.

It is not a chapter about which the White Dwarf spoke, but a chapter invented by a player of Warhammer 40000. Grey Angels often carry out small spiritual communities in their worship of the Emperor and are often used as examples for the Dharamis young people.

Origin and history:

The chapter plunges its roots in the Dharam planet (“value” in simple Eldar) and lives in perfect symbiosis with its inhabitants. The planet belonged before to Eldars and sheltered small communities exodites which last being destroyed by first colonizers. However some exodites were combined with human and formed a prosperous community quickly. This kind of alliance not being tolerated by the enquiry, alliance was hidden by the colonizers. Then by one rather strange fact all Eldars died in one year. Nobody known why and many graded tops tried to find answers, without success. However them stones spirit of Eldars remained in contact with human civilization and those révérèrent as Ci those had belonged to their own ancestors. At the time of an attack of the xeno-forms living in the seas surrounding the sanctuary city of Dharamis, the temples all were almost destroyed and the stones too. When battle ended and that the human ones left victorious, the stones had disappeared The descendants of these human valiant and having révéré these stones were blessed of one compared exceptionally long life has that of the other human ones (+-400ans).

Creation of the chapter

When the Dignitaries of Terra transfer that Dharamis had a particularly long life, they were extremely interested and asked Ultramarines to base a new chapter on planet. Those agreed to divide their genetic inheritance but did not occupy more theirs new chapter successor. Those were initially named “Emperor' S order” and were not useful much for a long period. Then a very violent attack of orks on Dharam killed the three quarters of the population in a very short time. If an alliance of Dark Angels and of Blood Angels had not intervened, the planet would currently be under domination ork. The chapter of Emperor' S order undergoes a very strong blow on this planet but also in their deepest being. The fact that the Ultramarines did not come to them to assistance a feeling of resentment towards them developed. Emperor' S order decided to change their name for Grey Angels into the honor of their savers (Dark Angels and Blood Angels) but also to greet the courage of a Dharamis citizen in gray armor of céramite who brought to a successful conclusion campaigns sabotage with the resistant human ones and who was integrated into the chapter as a tactician. This one climbed the levels and found itself with the head of the chapter. It helped the chapter to be raised of its many losses and conducted many victorious campaigns counter the orks and ejecta apart from the system of Dharamis.

Great Battle

Once the orks ejected system Dharam, Dharamis were rebuilt slowly but surely with the assistance of Grey Angels, the planet was able soon to rise with a row of civilization rather innatendu for a civilization having suffered such a physical injury and moral. The chapter Pu to be also rebuilt and recovered the majority of its manpower at valiant Dharamis but also on another planets of the system. The Very Holy Council of Terra wind of the exploit of Grey Angels had on the orks and often used them like " Désorkeur" in several system minors and major.

Organization of the chapter

The chapter is not organized like a chapter normal but well like an big family so that it new initiate feels as at his place in his new family.

- Sergeant, Chaplain, any unit QG-> units HQ are done called the Fathers because like a father who undertakes the education of his son and protects it, the Father will have to protect his Sons in any circumstance and to undertake to constantly maintain them in form. All marine space their superiors will call “Father” even a chaplain. The Master of chapters is called the Patriarch to underline his role and will have one and single Père: The Emperor.

- Warrior Space Marines-> the warriors are called wire because they are always under authority of their respective Father and one always of teaching to be received from their Father. Between them Space Marines are called “brother” as in any chapter.

- Scout Spaces Marines-> the marine scouts space are called the children because like frail children, they must still learn how to go (to make the war), with speaking (to request for the Emperor) and they are still in growth (establishment of the bodies Space Marines).

- Compagnies-> the companies are called families and are made only of 6 sections tactics and the company scouts is called Genèse because it is thanks to this company that the family increases. They are not supported by Attack and of Devastator because the chapter would have undergone important losses and would not use any more the kind of equipment used by these divisions.
