Gressoney-Saint-Jean
Gressoney-Saint-Jean is a common alpine Val of Aoste in Italy of North. In the local Germanic patois (the titsch ) the name of this commune is Greschoney (or Creschnau ) Sankt Johann .
Geography
Gressoney-Saint-Jean is in the valley of the Lily, between the communes of Gressoney-The-Trinity and that of Gaby.

In this commune one speaks a Germanic patois of origin, the titsch . It is the same patois which one also meets with Gressoney-The-Trinity, the commune bordering. The two communes, with those of Issime and Gaby constitute the Walsergemeinschaft Oberlystal (community walser of the high valley of the Lily), and belong to the Community of mountain Mount-Rose - walser .
